Does anyone else worry about meets?

The Lincoln meet is fast approaching and I have my name down to go but now I have started with the worrying! LOL I know at my age I should know better but what if nobody likes me?????? Its all very well chatting on here but when I get nervous I tend to be a bit brash and put people off. Does anyone else get nervous? Julie xxx |

I was very nervous before going to my first meet, but it was fine, and I'm absolutely, 100% positive that you'll be fine. Unless you're completely different in real life to how you are on here. |

Yes Yes Yes my first proper one yesterday but was very good, ok I had met Jess, Gwynne and Iz before but not Sheila, Claire or Christine. You will be fine, arrange to meet someone outside or nearby and go together. Enjoy |

Of course we do Julie! It's only natural But I have never been to a meet yet where I haven't got along with everyone and had a thoroughly good time. Then I wonder what all the fuss was about! LOL |

Most of the people I've met I know from on the boards so I wasn't nervous. I was worried whether people would find the venue, though. It's lots of fun. But there are one or two people I'd be a bit afraid of meeting .......... lol Gwynne |

I'm off to lIncoln too, its also my 1st meet & I'm going to be a little late as I'm travelling from Cornwall by train.....but hey I've spent so long these last few months talking to these peps on here I'm not at all nervous!! |

Yes they terrify me. All the way to Boro I kept thinking....what on earth am I doing. But it was great fun and everyone was lovely. But I will still be nervous next time XX |

Claire - I'm driving up from Berkshire in the morning but not coming back til the Monday - but if you wanna meet somewhere beforehand and come in the car with me you are welcome - I tried to PM you but it wouldn't let me!! ;o( Where do you have to change trains? If Reading is a stop i could collect you from there - will save you time but you'd still need a return ticket!! |
