I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy Joan, I have to have those every three months....OUCH!!!! Polly I disagree, the best thing for bad backs is to move, just don't overdo it. Walking is good. Sitting around isn't.

Ooo Theresa yes I know ! I had one done yesterday needless to say it brought tears to my eyes lol !!! Hassell if it is soft tissue/ligament etc rather than bone you could try arnica gel. You don't need to rub it in & you can use it as often as you like. If you have tried ibuprofen gels etc in the past well it's like them except no restrictions on use & it does work better I think. :0) Joan

Things have changed, Teresa since my nursing days in the 60s and 70s... Everything has changed.. He shouldn't be lifting slabs !
