Yes, its a great site. It was through 'talking' to an Australian on there that I managed to track down my ancestors' offspring in Oz after trying to locate them for over a year. Really good site, and its free. Stella

Hello I am on Rootschat, I mainly do look ups for other people. Same on Genes I look up on the trying to find board. I have had 2 contacts on genes who are related in all the time I have been a member. I had just about given up on my Leadbeater Oakley side, when a distant cousin found me. I like Rootschat as I have said helping others find their families. I live in hope some one will come on who is related to my Dad Leslie Oakley and my mother Edith Oakley nee Jones. Moms mother was Rose Pearsall and Dad James Jones. I only wish they had lots of middle names. Kindest regards Pam

Hi Paul, Yes have used Rootschat for a long time now, find it very easy to use site. I like the different areas, makes searching easier too. The restoration of old photos, some very clever people on there. No constant name changing,no bickering. I am at present trying to help someone on there with a very difficult search. After all that,I do love GR,for the humour, the way people help each other with personal issues, when your down, someone on here will always pick you up. I have learnt a lot from here,in so many ways. trish.
