roxanne you are so right. my hubby has got coronary vascular disease,he has had a stent fitted in his artery due to a blockage. he was only 45 when he had it done.hes 48 now. the first thing he asked the dr was if he had to give up smoking. both the vascular surgeon and the cardiologist said that its hereditary!! they said that even if he didnt smoke he would have still probably got it. his brother has beurgers disease which is also a vascular thing. his father and mother both suffer with heart probs. its just a numbers game! susie

I have not smoked since the odd puff behind the bike shed at school, 19 pence for 20 then, stoped when 14 and have not had one since, the one thing i do notice, i at nearly 47 have no crows feet or lines on my face, yet freinds 10 years younger are starting to get bad lines on there faces through smoking, some even look older than me, it defanetly ruins your skin as well as your wallet.
