Will try and nudge up the threads about these beds/mattresses cause I asked about them more than a year ago and we got one in May 05. They definitely do make you warmer and are very comfy, but wish we had room for a 5' one, 4'6' is not big enough for two plump adults, I like to spread myself around (and there is plenty to spread these days, believe me.) lol Hope you have a lovely night's sleep Muffy. Ann I am not sure if the topper is as good as the mattress, never having had the mattress, but I certainly noticed the difference when I used the topper. Well worth a try in my opinion.

OK, I'm sold, but I have heard that there is a smell from them, and they are too warm........if you have one that does neither of those things, could you give me the name?....

♥~Muffy! ~♥ Report 7 Oct 2006 11:23

Hi Sally. I have a Flexcell 20, I haven't noticed any smell from it, and to be honest, I haven't felt hot either, it apparently has some sort of temperature control layer to it - though I haven't the faintest idea how it works. lol.

Thanks for the info I have written down the name! My OH suffers badly with his back and just recently having a really bad time! I know this sounds daft but would you need one of the super duper king size quilts for a 5ft one? Kaz

♥~Muffy! ~♥ Report 7 Oct 2006 12:04

Hi Kaz I have a five foot bed and use a king size quilt, not a super king and it fits perfectly xx
