Occording to the mother because I don't have a child I am an un savoury charactor.... no man would want me.... but I have just heard a 4 year old say she can't hug her mum cos she is drunk and her step dad will tell her offm for doing so!!!!! Poor kid was scared witless!!! |

I met them for the first time tonight and told them face to face that their child was unhappy....... I wouldn't have reported them without telling them first!!! |

its awful..... the family are a friend of a friend and i met them for the first time tonight..... I heard the mother tell the child she was a C*** and that was enough for me after the tame ish things she said.... like bitch and cow!! She is 4 for gawds sake and deserves more than that! |

Bless her little heart, Diana, she does not deserve that - you did the right thing but I think you should call the Police and tell them what is happening, they might need to chase Social Services up tonight, not leave it till morning, who knows what could have happened to the little girl by then, and we wouldn't want you having someone banging on your door tonight either, if the parents are drunk and uncouth, they could do some stupid things. The little mite was frightened to go to bed! said she didn't know what was going to happen!! she's 4 and didn't know how to laugh!! and said she should be grateful as she hasn't had a daddy before.... this drunk has been in her life for 5 mmonths and she is scared of him!! |

Diana, no doubt you have done the right thing, have you phoned the police so this gets dealt with tonight, I fear for that child. My son works as a pizza delivery lad to supplement his income and there is a new lad started who my son says is a little slow, he has apparently been in and out of care, he is 17. He seems to have taken a liking to my son, and told him yesterday his mother is a prostitute and keeps trying to sleep with him, her own son. My lad has no idea how to help him and said in a way, he wishes he hadn't been told anything. What some children have to go through is dreadful, thank heavens there are people brave enough to speak up. Keep us posted Diana and take care. Liz |

Good on you Diana,she is just a baby and you have responded to her needs. Too many people turn a blind eye As for the mother well just turn your phone off,and ignore her,if she makes a real nuisance of herself call the police I have this happen quite often in my job,because we are a small rural hospital woman who have had there babies taken in to care will often try and appear up here and have there new ones under the radar. They are none too pleased when I check up and report there births but I dont care because its the little ones that count. Regards Tania |
