Strump, I gave it up after 40yrs smoking Capstan Full Strength. Not for me but it was affecting some one else,s health. What I did was eat 'Liquerice Allsorts' every time I wanted a Cigarette,You try an smoke after eating some of those, the taste is indescribabley horrible, but its worth it in the end, keep trying and thinking of what you can do with the extra cash you will have.( If you put aside the cash every day what you would spend on them ) it soon mounts up. Best Wishes, Hal.

Update - not doing as well as I'd hoped - instead of 5 a day I am managing 6. Damn it - that means it will take me ab extra month. I'll do it though should I die in the attempt !!! Also, all choccies and biscuits are now banned (none in the house) so that I can't be tempted to over-eat on fatenning goodies. Tomorrow is another day and I'll make it 5, see if I don't !!! How are you doing Lorraine ?
