ok I've just gone and got the booklet and this is what it says .... ' offer letters will be posted on 1 March 2007 and email notifications mailed at 0900 2 March 2007 ' so I definitely won't be hearing until tomorrow! Maz. XX

My postie should be here within the hour hopefully. Livvy has been told that today they will be choosing who they want to go up to 'big school' with......ie. who they want to be with in their new class. She's devastated cos she has 5 friends that she wants to be with, but generally they only let you pick 2. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! Jeanette x

Im so envious of you all.........our results wont be known untill 25th May!! The children here ( N.Ireland) sit an 11+ test - those that get A's & B's go off to Grammar school ( many over subscribed and the children can choose anyone they wish in any county/district) those that get c's and under go to High School's - again over subscribed & anyone they wish in any county etc.... there are no catchment areas here.

Thanks maz Told him when he got home. he was over the moon. He sat his 11+ but missed it by 1 point for passing. Was gutted we had to have our 14 year old dog put to sleep on the monday and then he sat the test on the sat. so I feel i maybe to blame, but wasn't sure what to do for the best at the time. But he will do well where ever he goes he's a bright boy bless him. Kate

Devastated! Olivia has been allocated a place at a school over 10 miles away. We do not live in the catchment area for the school we wanted but she has been attending the feeder school since she started. There are two other children in the same position as Olivia........one has got a place at the same school as her, the other has been given a place at the school at the top of our street. The appeal starts now! Jeanette :-((((((((((((((

Hi girls ! Shelli - congrats :-) glad you got what you wanted - they will come round to the idea !! Kate - if he only just missed out, there is still a chance he will get in - some of those awarded places may choose a private school, or may move house. Don't give up hope!! Sue - congrats to you too! Jeanette - sorry to hear that :-( very best of luck with your appeal. Well, I have 2 letters here - one from my borough giving the allocation and one from the 11+ borough. BUT I had to promise Charlotte that I wouldn't open it .... she wants to do it with me after school ... it's driving me INSANE !!! I'm counting the minutes! Will let you know later! Maz. XX

Star your school should inform you of what to do and when, our did. Had booklets sent out In the Sept of Yr 6 Every borough is slightly different. We had the veiwing of the high schools in the Sept the twins evtered yr 6, then the applications had to be had with the education dept by mid Nov. try calling your local council and ask tospeak to admissions they should be able to advise you. but if you're triplets are yr 6 this Sept - then i think I can safely say you'll start it all in Sept!!!
