Hi Baz could need updating on the OS run the Software Update in the System Preferences, and also try deleting the pref's file from the HD/User/xxx/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist Sorry can't hang around but this should help :)) |

I can Tina. You can go from the base units,,, Mac Mini, these are 61/4 ins square, and are really great. Make sure you get one with a Super Drive, this will allow you to burn to DVD as well as CD. Priced around £400. Next is the IMAC, an all in one unit, the same applies with this one as well. Price though around £800. Best to go to the Apple Mac website. From here they get bigger and bigger, and also more and more expensive. |

Good thanks Baz. The problem you have with the Mac aside, would you recommend one..my daughter is in the multi media industry and says they are by far the best for the nature of her work. She is desperate for one. Tina x |

Have a look at the Laptops TM, my son uses them as well as ther 'big' ones, and he swears by them. Might see you over there, it's only over the bridge from me. |

Hi Baz I have a Mac I tend to find that Safari really only tends to shut on the GR site strangely enough. Does it quit on other sites or just this one? x lesley |

Hi Baz I think it must be something to do with GR then, when I use other sites it shuts down rarely. At first, I thought it may have been that I was spending more time on GR than other sites and the odds were that it would shut down on here, however, I haven't been on GR much lately and I'm not finding the same problems. I seem to have a few issues with GR. I must admit I love my Mac and can't ever see myself going back to a pc. I have so little problems with my computer now. x lesley |

I'd be totally lost now without it. Everything about the Mac is just so fine, makes a PC look a bit pre-historic eh . xx |
