Quite right too Allan, if I may say so!!
Many years ago I bought my OH the tiniest book (2" square) 'For Husbands'. ;-) He came across it today and was chuckling and spluttering as he re-read it.

It is full of little quotes: eg

'Before criticising your wife's faults
you must remember
that it may be these very defects
which prevented her from getting
a better husband than the one she married.'

I find the little gems in it keep him on his toes!! ;-) ;-) :-)

Before I married my late husband I was his partner, too old to be a girlfriend and I really dislike the term lady friend. My husband had a business and a business partner. Not the same meaning as just partner. If anyone invited us out and I wasn't there he would say that he would just check with the queen before saying yes.

I also have an ex husband but have never minded being known as Mrs ?
