Has John now become a pariah?

There was a thread on here not so many hours ago asking about his thread, in which he said he was leaving.

I responded on that thread, and then went to post another item only to receive the "This Thread no longer exists" message.

What's going on? :-S :-S

Last time John declared he was leaving, he didn't leave, he sat on the touchline, waiting for the right moment to run back on to the playing field - I think that may well be what he is doing again ;-)

I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"

I posted on Lilybeds thread , I didn't post anything unpleasant, nor did I see anything unpleasant.

I sometimes think that on GR, what one person reads as unpleasant, is what another person reads as just an ordinary comment.

One of the things I posted was that if anyone wanted to know what happened to John, was to pm him, that seemed a sensible solution, well in my world is does :-)

As a matter of interest (well, to me anyway) I did receive a very nice PM from John, following his first thread. He didn't elaborate on his reasons for leaving, nor did I ask :-)

In my option, no, 12 mths ago perhaps, I don't often post on here now adays I do pop in have a read or catch up on my PM.s, John in the past could be annoying even entertaining but at times managed to put his foot in it. I think he misses the likes of Rambling Rose and a few others. Like you I am sure he will be back .......infact I'd have a skydriver on it ;-)
