I have mentioned it to GR PricklyHolly, because it may help if they realise that. I'm thinking that those who use a laptop which has more of a tilt to the screen have perhaps had less problems with glare from the new background than those using a 'flat screen' monitor?

Amazing! I've tilted my screen back a bit & it makes the bright eye-dazzling white much cooler for my tired eyes.

SueCar - to get your emoticons bck go into "Tools" - click on "Campatability View Settings" - top left hand coirner you will see what looks like a torn sheet of paper, click on that and your emoticons will return

As to the thread changing colour when you put your cursor on it - surely it's only to highlight that particular thread
