lol all

A true story: twenty odd years ago I bought a new dinner suit. I remarked to my wife that the jacket pockets were sewn up. My wife assured me that dinner suit jackets did not have pockets as such.

I have worn the suit on a very regular basis ever since.

Last month, at a fairly elegant 'do' my wife got talking to some men. As soon as we got home, my wife took my jacket of me and started to mess with the pockets.

Lo and behold, she unpicked two pockets (that is the opposite of picking pockets) and exposed them to view.

For twenty years I had been trying to tell her that there should be pockets, but no she was convinced that there weren't.

Only when my observations were confirmed by someone else did she finally believe me :-|

on the positive side, there was no build up of fluff in the pockets :-D

Allan, you just reminded me,

Men will under stand this
I never could understand why when a man says to his wife X, Y, and Z she thinks he must be wrong but when a stranger says X, Y, and Z, Then it must be correct
