North Warwickshire has flooding too - and I imagine several other places - but they are not hitting the headlines because they don't have the same added drama. The impact on those affected is the same though.

Is this crazy weather ever going to settle?

Afternoon, quite pleasent here this morning with a slight breeze, wind picked up a bit now and it clouding over,to people in Geordieland, my sympathy and to those in Derbyshire,keep your flippers on you,re bound to get more. :-S :-S :-D

I was in Newcastle last weekend.Fri-Mon.Had it been today we would never have got there.No trains due to landslide.
We did see some heavy rain while there.
some summer we are all 'not' having.

Afternoon folks :-) well apart from lawn under water and it seeping in through the garage the house thank goodness hasn't been affected. But lots of other poor souls in houses are flooded out.

On BBC news page it shows our local school down the road is a complete mess & the car park is a huge lake.

My sympathies go to folk who are badly afffected and I know Warwickshire have been hit Island.

Of course children think it's great and in some places have been swimming and canoeing....silly billies :-| don't think I'd go swimming in it :-S
