Just for a fresh topic of conversation on here, How is your weather today.
Ours, well we now have the start of a banging and flashing session. And it is so dark.
Last night was unbearable in bed. No air, and boiling hot, resulting in very little sleep.
I have managed to get down the yard to the greenhouse and water the tomatoes and nip out the jacks, before I get drowned in the rain.
The weather gal has forecast everything bar a plague of locust. But hey ho, that is typical of our British summer weather.

Island, I am rather partial to a bit of Ambrose and his orchestra. In fact, on a Sunday 4.00-6.00 it is hits from the 30/40/50's on our local radion, with alot of the big band sounds. I am such a sucker for this. But it is an age thing. You are far to young to appreciate this.
Anyway, it is two hours of Bangra after that. What can I say.

Buttercups darlink, I wish I had your philosophy to life. You take care and look after yourself.

Muffy, hold on in there, in case this lot passes on to you in Cambs.

Its hot but with that damp sort of heat and no sun. It reminds me of going into those rain forest domes in the Edan project

Well, it has now passed for the time being. Rain has stopped, sun is trying to get out, no banging and flashing.
I'm on me fourth crochet girls cardigan this week, local radio is now back on the air, and baby dog is having a Daddy cuddle to soothe her nerves.
OH has now got to go down to the allotment and tie up, everything the torrential rain has battered down.
Hope it does not return this afternoon.

Back to normal, for a while at least.

The thunder has done a u-turn ( I name this storm David Cameron) and has now moved back over us and it's also torrential rain with huge hailstones in it ...I somehow don't think we will get out the front door to the college....
