If you have a library card go to your local library site and look for the Genealogy Databases. In there should be 19th century british newspapers, there is a lot of info in them that you won't find anywhere else. |

Join your local family history group if money is tight Ours charge £12 a year 1 2 good lectures a year plus free acess to ancestry and find my past on the societys computers .Plus cds fiche etc how they break even i dont know . |

I have only downloaded the one on genes but couldn't believe all the info I found on it even all children including children that had died so sad and the head of the households signiture |

"Ancestry do not yet have the 1911 census indexed." - so far ancestry has indexed Wales, Isle of Man and Channel Islands records. |

Braken, Ancestry should have full transcription of the 1911 census by next month but you can search it at the moment - it is a bit longwinded though. |
