Ann I'm glad you enjoyed Jane Mc Donald.She is quite a character I think.She isn't really my cup of tea though.I remember seeing her on that programme when she was working on the Cruise Ship.
What a dreary old day it is.Fitz has just been up to get some pictures of the Owl that I printed off for him to show his Mum.He has now gone to get logs in for his fire.

Been busy sorting out old tins of paint from the shed ,there must have been at least twenty tins with just a little paint left in them ,we've put them in the skip its still here ,was supposed to have been taken away yesterday !!!
Also hubby as been back in the loft and got more bits from there !!

Its been foggy here all day ,went to Te*co's first thing and bought some books for Christmas presents and a toy for Katie's birthday next month .

Glad you enjoyed Jane McD last night Ann, i think we have one of her cd's some where.
Gammon steak for tea tonight then we're off to sisters for a natter ,before she goes to work.

Been sorting a few bits and pieces out and cleaning the barometer (sp) and the hall bim bam clock. You should have seen what came of both!!!!!!!! ginger brown muck from all the ears of smoking!! Don't think they had had a good clean in 22 years. Spick and span now except I have'nt cleaned the weights on the clock with brasso.

Hi All
Been busy today, went to do some food shopping that OH forgot last night ,I hadn't put it on the list DAUGHTER NO1 BIRTHDAY CAKE (.my fault really)
She'll be 30 on Tuesday but we will be all together tomorrow so we will celebrate then, as we won't all be together on Tuesday.

Then went to see dad this morning at 10.00am, with OH and took him out for a run in the car around the country lanes, saw the cows, sheep & horses, dad just sat in the front seat, nodding off sometimes.
He was calm, wether it was the medication he is on or just a good time of the day no one knows?
we went passed his old house and my house and there was no recolection at all.
It was too cold to get out of the car and walk,

This afternoon had a ride out to the big Dob**es Garden Centre at Sterling, it's looking really lovely all done up for christmas, bought a few Red T lights and a centre peice for my dinning room table, also some fancy sweets as presents for christmas

'evening all .Looks like you have all been busy.I have been doing not a lot really.Just getting things cooked to go in a Risotto in a while.Long chat with my sister on the phone.Sorting out just a little washing(Hannah not here) lol.Goodness me what a difference!!!!!!!.I have to say it is lovely just being the two of us here lol.Even if it is just for a short while. Chris says we will be on our Zimmers and we will still have the kids!!!!!!.

Was going to do a lamb stew but got into something else and it was too late by the time I thought about it again!!

Having fillet steak instead and a nice bottle of Hardys Crest red.

Is that the Harvey's Crest that's on special offer?
I don't like Lamb Stew.I like lamb but just not in a stew.We have Lamb Leg Steaks tomorrow.I saw something yesterday ,and it was to mix a little red wine,mixed herbs and garlic and put over the Lamb before cooking.Sounds tasty I think.My Risotto is cooking now and will be ready in about 20 mins.I'm flipping starving,so hope it turns out alright .

Hi all,

Not done much today. Went to see the football at lunchtime, and listened to the football this afternoon (BORING AREN'T I) sat a watch a bit of telly. Have ordered the Indian. then tele for the evening.

Hannah said she got caught up in a load of football fans in London earlier today.Found it a bit scary as they were doing the chanting thing ,and the opposition were on the other side of the road.She legged it quick back to the flat she is staying in and said she would wait until the Match started before she went out again lol
It is very strange here with just Him and Me !!.....But quite nice really.

Much brighter this morning although no sun.I can't believe how late it is and I have not long been up.I may go and see if I can get a few Xmas presents this morning.Trouble is I have no idea what to buy!

David ,you obviously bought your house when prices were that much better.They aren't improving either.Have you found somewhere? I know you were looking.

I FOUND THE REMOTE THAKS SHIRL !!!!

Have done all the veg, and got meat ready for oven. Have got a saucepan of peelings on for the chickens, mixed with layers (NO THEY DON'T) mash. they will enjoy that
.Have seen no sign of fish in the pond, will have to turn the pump off, just wasting electricity. I don't know if I will clean it all out and start again, or just fill it in. See what the spring brings.

David, It must be heart breaking to loose that sort of money. Our parents allways told us. INVEST IN PROPERTY

Its not a bad day here, sunny intervals now and again .

We went to the apple farm this morning to stock up on the Cox's Apples on the way we pasted a village green with lots of ducks and sat in the middle was a Cat !! looked so funny as if it was eyeing up his dinner !!!

Well the Chicken is all ready for the oven and the veg are all done too ,not doing much else today ,got to rest up as we are having a family day out tomorrow christmas shopping with son and DIL i have a feeling it will be a long day .

David, thats a lot of money to loose on your house , have you found somewhere else you fancy ?
