Machetes?????

That's where I'm going wrong lol I forgot the machete......mind you I'm not entirely sure whether anyone would be safe if I had a machete ;-)

Edit: I don't do planting and dead heading either, it's bad for the nails ;-)

I have to admit to being the type who likes to sit in a garden and admire the view rather than create it lol

But Cat that's the best sort lol... faffing about with dead heading, and planting bedding plants is boring....it is the hacking down with machetes that is so much fun ;)

Rose, you don't know what you're letting yourself in for lol

I have weeds springing up from the path and have just spent half an hour clearing them so some men coming to do some maintenance on the windows can get near them without nettling themselves. I have to admit to getting bored within five minutes of starting any ermmm gardening. Well it's more like jungle clearance really lol

Keith! I am a very nice neighbour :) the sort who waters your plants while you are on holiday and doesn't stare out of the top window if you are sunbathing nude in the garden lol (trust me I really wouldn't lol )

A cottage on a small holding with a stream running through it and if possible access to the sea near by or if I can be greedy my own private beach lol

Oooooo Rose, now you have me thinking......we might have to downsize, so the next house I would like in my dreams......would be an old brick and flint cottage, with an old fashioned garden with a bubbling stream running along the bottom, with plenty of parking space for the kids when they visit......

.....but OH doesn't like 'old', so we might end up with a new flat or something like that.......I would rather stay here if that were the case....

Not being overlooked by neighbours :-)
That was the main selling point of our house, We are a semi at the end of the road, So our back garden is only overlooked by the neighbours who live in the adjoining house.

A lovely big secluded garden preferably in the middle of nowhere with absolutely no neighbours. The house itself would need to have enough room for us all but the garden would win it for me.
