****MO***Rocking***Granny**** Report 14 May 2009 11:32

My daughter got threatened with court, for not sending her son to school
But she did.
He went in and registered in the morning, then left durring the day
How can teachers let him do this, then say she didnt send him
they didnt even tell her he had left the school
So as far as she was concerned,he was there

Thats the thing Mo, you can take a child right into school but not be there to make sure they stay!

Son needs my computer for the scanner so will be off for a bit now :))

Hi Rose
The school dont have the time it seems to check if all the children are there all day
As far as my daughter was aware ,her son was safe in the school
Instead of that he was out in the streets
As he had registered surely he was the schools responsibility from then on
She had done her part by sending him
The register was her proof of attendance

Foggy - them's fightin' words!!!

I started out to say something about caravans, but somehow they got lost in favour of kids.

My 5y.o. grandson is in his first year of school. His mother helps out with reading, distributing work and books, etc. Spends an hour on 2 to 3 days a week.

Every time she walks into the room, the teacher has set the children to do drawing, listening to music, etc. while she sits at the computer. When she sees my daughter walk in, she quickly clears the screen; gets up and greets her warmly.

She has now found out that the teacher has a business of internet sales!

It beggars belief Berona!!

Agreed aravans should be MOT'd. Chassis, tyres and brakes at least.
What about bicycles too.....brakes etc and shouldn't anyone using a bicycle, children included, have to pass a basic test before they use public roads.
