No, not just you - I hate it also. and I think it's so very bad for the baby to be scrunched up in a little ball. |

No please dont get me wrong Muffy your a mother who drives....so of course a big pram or any pram would of been no used to you at all....when my were babies about 10 years ago or so I walked everything school shops where to hand if I went in to town I walked everywhere and had a pushcahir for when I didnt....both my sisters are Nanas and I am please to say even theirGrand babies where in prams...little ones but lay flat....its when you see them walking I dont see the point of them when they dont even drive... |

I don't mind the new style pram/car seat multi thingy.... but what I am totally opposed to is front facing pushchairs!! A child needs to be facing towards his or her carer... I have been against them for years, but new research has proven me right... the average child has better communication skills when they can interact with their mum/dad or whoever!! They can't do that when they are facing away from you. |

I have converted my daughter to "proper prams " ,(we know have 23 between us full size and dolls) .I do not drive so nearly always use one of the big prams but it takes me twice as long to do anything as I am always stopped and chatted to. The ladies want to have a push and the men ask if they can have the wheels to make a trolley/go cart /boggey . |

Some of the designs leave a very small gap between the hoods of pushchair and carseat. I saw one in town yesterday. There may even have been a baby inside, but I couldn't see one. |

I really don't think it does baby any good to be put in a sitting position, without enough spinal support when they are less than three months old. I was always told don't attempt to sit him up until he is holding his head up comfortable, as his spine won't be strong enough. |
