We have our wedding anniversary on 23rd Feb.........12 years this year.......Now THAT is a romantic dayfor us and we ALWAYS celebrate that because it's ours and it means something !!!!xx

I think Tesco have over done the Roses for £5 they were on the flower stall and on the end of every till .In your face or what!!!!!

I have never got a Valentine card and dont want one.

And as you say if they love you should show it all the time not on one day of the year

Me & OH dont do valentines day either, we think it is a rip off. We don't need a special day to show that we love each other, as we say it every day to each other, and leave messages round the house etc...(my messages are usually, "can you leave me a tenner")....


nope sorry, but think it is a commercial, rip off....

No don't do Valentines... not as though I have one anyway lol.

See Asda were doing a bunch of red roses for £2. Woman on the telly said she'd be insulted if her husband gave her those.
Isn't that just pathetic... as if you can measure love by the amount of money spent.

Ive been reading this thread with interest,as when we were children..Jack Valentine always visited...he knocked on the door and left pressies...just small ones.I think this is unique to some parts of Norfolk.It has been going on for years(he used to come to my mum,who is 83 this year)but I do wonder how long it will be before the tradition runs out.
