Thanks for asking, Hayley. We're nowhere near the fires but have family near the disaster area and friends up near the flood in north Queensland. Thankfully all ok.

We have reallies in Sydney ....and I was worried sick about Mick I must admit didnt sleep very last night worrying about him, then this morning I was up at 5.30 trying to see if there was any news of him and I was reading what our your fellow Ozzys were saying about the water tanks being ruined ...it was arwful thankfully he is fine just lost a shed and is always full of the joys of spring...it was such a relief..

We're about an hour south of Sydney. It was good to hear from Mick and thank God he and his family are safe. It's a very scary and tragic time for all Aussies and worrying for rellies overseas. We've had a few phone calls from family in the UK who were worried because they weren't sure how close we were to the bushfires. I think a lot of people in the UK don't realise how big Australia is.
