LOL Cynthia.........If they don't know what a marrow is what hope have we........

Thanks for the tip on bicarb for the bee sting La Gooner and Tina it is also great for washing out your fridge and if you have an odour in the fridge just place dry bicarb in an eggcup.

I also use it for baking with......lol

Gosh Amanda.............I had forgotten that. My Mum used to do the same............and while memory is being jogged.....do you remember the Robin starch? I can vaguely remember the shirts with the detatchable collars.........They had to be ironed until they were shiney.......lol

Did anyone have a Flatley drier -my Mum had one till recently? You put the clothes on racks and turned it on -heat dried the clothes, Ros xx

Yes Roslyn.......My MIL had one up till about 20 years ago.........and yes Linda, I remember doing that too.........lol
