dont know what a goose gog is?? but we had a huge mulberry tree that fell down, we've got another one now that should have more on it this year
couldnt make lemon sago , no lemons left, so we had coconut cream with it instead instead.
where were you Deanna? I had to put the rest in the fridge.

Condensed milk on bread , or treacle on bread.Lemonade powder in the palm of your hand and lick it. We collected nuts from the hedges to go in the Christmas cake and pudding.

perhaps we should go back to gathering the wild harvest i used to love it we always had chestnuts and blackberries saved pennies lo!!!

sounds good, we would eat the stuff that was in season and save a fortune.
gooseberries dont grow here, I've seen them in small trays but cost the earth. just had to check the rhubarb this morning, I think there might be enough for a decent crumble.
