I'd say it was RSI, but you need to get it checked out hun, it could be arthritis..check your posture is correct at your desk too, your elbows shoudl be level with your wrists and your wrists should be resting on something.

I think it's your mouse causing it Hayley................googled and found

"Having a good mouse is paramount. A bad mouse can give you sore wrists, frustrating responses, and worse - a repetitive stress injury."

repetitive strain injury Hayley, RSI, thats why elf and safty measured your desk etc, to make sure you are sitting right and don't get RSI

If you are constantly sitting in the wrong position, the strain on the muscles can become serious and very painful, even taking you off work for long periods.

Of course it could just be that you are sleeping in the damp patch.....

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 15 Jun 2008 14:50

RSI usually manifests itself in late middle age.

It can be caused by many things, most commonly by excessive use of the wrist. One tip is to switch to drinking halfs instead of pints, to lower the weight loading on the ulnar joint.
