I think its repetitive strain Hayley, I used to get it with playing piano and still do with writing and puter.

I have problems as I tend to sit with laptop on coffee table.Elbows resting on knees and wrists resting on edge of laptop.I have had sciatica like pain in my buttock which has been so bad I could not even put whole foot flat on floor.(someone on here called it Weavers Bottom).,And one of my knees has been so bad I had to buy a tens machine.
I just need to sit up at the table.
The other thing is with my wrists resting on laptop I have got contact Dermatitis .
All this from just chatting to people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gwynnes right Hayley sounds like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I suffered for years finally had both wrists done at the same time a few years ago. Only have minor problems now.
Go get it checked at the docs.

I've had ops on both hands, Hayley, but before the op I tried occupational therapy which helped a bit.

Obviously not thrown far enough, But is it right that there has been a few "Empresses" entering "Knobbley Knees" competitions? that could well be the reason for Pains in the Knees, To much exposure.**M**.:o)>.

Seriously, though, I dont think that you should heed advice from here, not even from me who is a qualified first aider and former paramedic.

It is far better to ring NHS direct and they will put you in touch with a qualified health care professional, or even make an appointment with your own General Practitioner. If it is realy bad, go to hospital.

In the meantime, it is probably safe to take Ibuprofen (make sure it is with food) or tramadol if you have any spare.

Hope you feel better soon.
