Got 3 cats. I've been away for a week and friend has been living in house feeding them. George looks like he's lost a lot of weight, but judging by my bedroom floor and duvet cover (his favourite place is my bed) it's just fur!!! Betty, however - the only long haired one - has been 'comfort' eating, has kept all her fur and now looks like a cushion!!

Hi people, sorry not been on for a while, I got my Furminator from this place, delivered the next day - the small size is really only for cats of mini dogs. I have the medium for my two terriers. It really is as good as it says - I have a whole shelf of brushes, clippers, combs etc and nothing works like this. I use it for a few strokes through every day now and still get a handful doing that.

Kalo used to hate me when I brushed him, then when I first broke my ankle I could not brush him and he got a bit tangled and he was uncomfortable, so now he loves me when I brush him.

Our long haired German Shepherd is moulting very heavily at the moment ,the short haired GSD and our Lab are almost as bad.
Hoping its a sign that we are going to have a hot summer :))
Bailie the long coated GSD and Cally the Lab, love being brushed but S'Jenna thinks we are the worlds worst owners when we try to do her :)))
We also leave the hair out for the birds.

It has to be something like that Jean .....I've had dogs all my life and I've never known it this bad.

I've been looking into getting one of the wonder grooming aids mentioned on the thread, but can't find it anywhere.

Anyone got any more info about where I can find one please........I'm getting desperate lol. Even a trip to the groomers didn't help lol xx

I used to do our dog outside as much as poss but also when you sat with her and ansentmindedly stroked her, there would be hair, she was yellow lab cross, I would scoop up what I could and put out for the birds lol

I bathed the 3 grown up Lhasas yesterday, the dogs that don't moult and only loose hair when you brush them. Well I was brushing away and the hair was coming out in brush fulls. It was a real sight, it looked like it had been snowing black, white and blonde hair all over my patio by the time I finished.
