Never had a nasty one, sadly. So that would be cool to get one.

But be careful about replying to me on an open thread, lol - it might start people talking don't you know!

I never saw your thread Eldrick but try to ignore them hun they only do it for a reaction.

Oh and I will continue to speak to you on the boards as I dont give a fig what people say, and it cant be any worse than has already been said about me lol

I like Oscar WIldes view:

The only thing worse than being talked about is NOT being talked about.

Doesn't bother me in the slightest. If someone doesn't have the courage to do it to my face or in a PM then they are just a joke! To be scraped off the side of a shoe.

But an apology goes a long way. I migh then be able to forget who has made themselves fair game for open warfare :-)

Reminds me of another great line.....(name the film)...

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. Gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize like I know you're going to, I might be able to convince him that you didn't mean nothin' by it...

In reply to the question.
Yes GR can see it as everything on the boards is stored at the GRHQ incase needed in court or such alike. If it's been deleted from the boards then it's still viewable by GR if they deem it needs looking at.

Wild Cat,

It's only against Ts and Cs to copy and paste pms onto the boards, surely?

If you copy an abusive post to GR I'm pretty sure that's ok.

The vision persists...

'So you call yourself Peoples Friend Pin Up '63 in Silver Clogs' and you claim that the other party, who calls herself 'Apple Blossom and Rottweiler Pooh' said some really nasty things about you......and you are so upset that you....you can't what...?'

It is too funny for words! Court from a genealogy message board! I'm going to ring my pal from the News of the World and let him in on this one!

Methinks the world of over-dramatisation is too real for some!

hehehehehehe

Yes Ian in COURT

you obviously don't keep up with the new laws or regulations - however last year it became illegal to libel, bully or harass people over the Internet.

Try reading all the legalities to using websites - you might just learn something.
