No.6 Vic Oliver played the violin and formed an orchestra but was also on Saturday evenings on Home Service in chat type comedy show I think after In Town Tonight.

Can anybody remember the name of the comedian who was in a TV series about a pickle factory? I think he may have been in ITMA.

No. 3 ITMA - racking my brains but recall the name of Tommy Handley (well before my time!)

Called it the wireless deliberately. (if anyone remembers cats whiskers, I,m off) Would still be interested in any memories of the programmes or people.
