Daphne Report 10 Mar 2009 13:14

The electives are not nearly so long as the basic Jackie but the sooner I finish the lot the happier I'll be I hate things dragging on.

I remember Keith studying for some extra things he wanted to be experienced in regarding Safety at work. He was in his 50s and he found studying very difficult. I was the one he tried all the questions out on all the time. He worked so hard at it. 5 nights a week studying and 2 nights at Tech and he was working 9 hours a day too. He was so tired but it payed off and he passed with flying colours. I was so proud of him.

Wow that's great. Wish they had it for free here. I think the price puts people off a bit.

My youngest son is a bricklayer and he wanted to sit for his Builders licence. He could do it full time over 12 months but becuase he had just got married and was paying a mortgage he couldn;t afford the time off work. So he did it part time. There were 27 Subjects and it took him 5 years to complete. He also worked really hard and did without a lot of things in that 5 years but he passed all 27 subjects and now has his registration
