Gosh don't us girls grizzle about our hair, never satisfied are we .lol
I just think how much I've save on perms, haircuts ( I used to cut and colour my own for 30 yrs.... now go to the hairdressers )
Shimms when my hair was below shoulder length in the 70's I used to iron it straight, using brown paper between my hair and the iron.

Of course, sorry I forgot. It will be do you good this week, has been a tough one for you, twill be nice to be able to relax, enjoy ....

Got some good news off my sister on Monday. She said my niece is employing a Hairdresser in April too. Turning one of the rooms into a Hairdressers. Just one girl employed. That will be great she said I can get my hair done there now too.

My hair is a Hairdressers nightmare it is so thick and BUFFY (well thats my name for it lol)

I had long curly hair and I used to put one huge roller on the top of my head and sweep my hair (when wet) round it and it used to be straight.

That's good Daphne happy to hear all is well. I sat and watched Animal hospital tonight and had a good cry. It showed you all the animals that had got burnt in the fires in Vic. It was so sad

I sometimes roll a section of mine Barb, take it the reverse way that I wear it then when I unroll it flick it over, it has a beautiful lift.

One of my dau friends has straight blonde hair, which is just an inch or so off the floor. She won't have it cut. She's gets glares off everyone when she's out because it is unusual and not fashionable, she more often than not plaits it. But her's take hours to dry. She's graduated and doing a teacher cert, oh boy is she going to have the mick taken out of her by pupils.
Dau gets embarrassed for her when they go out together, because everyone stares, and without being rude she isn't a pretty girl, so they're not giving her the Wow stare.

Sandie, I used to work in a school, lovely long hair yet is it not a health risk, what would happen if it was caught during PE or similar. Children like scissors too ... PVA glue ... gosh, hope she can put her hair up somehow.

Sandie I hope your daughter's friend doesn't give in to pressure and cut her hair not enough girls are game to be different these days.
My grandmother's hair was that long and mine has always been at least waist length.
