There is no baptism record on Scotlands People, nor on Family Search, for any Robert Crawford on 15/3/1844 anywhere in Scotland. |

This week she visited Robert Crawford’s last known address in Midleton, cork. It is still standing but empty, and had become a fishing tackle shop. |

Just to update this enquiry, Robert Crawford was born/baptised 15.3.1844 in Scotland and by 1859 he was on a ship called “Edinburgh”. |

Again, it's a very common name, and there's no way to prove if any of the 19 Robert Crawfords baptised in Scotland 1826-1828 (per SP) might be him - that's even assuming the 1897 death is the right man. |
