I used to love the old original chat board, the continous one, nights of fun and laughter that went on sometimes for page after page lol

do people really try and keep calm waters,,,

oh Im getting to maudling,,but think us back seat sitters have good view of all the windows from wide angle,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ha ha,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Kay :):) Sitting back is sometimes the best option to, see how something develops first :):) I think thats also part of being an old timer. No Im not saying we are old lol but experience helps sometimes on here to lol

I usually sit back and watch......it is fun and rather interesting.
It's best not to get too embroiled in things .....lol
It is sad that there are some people about that seem to be bent on causeing bother.
Glad to see you back here Colin...your're one of the first people I spoke to.....and I've been here for yonks.

Its a funny one really, from experience these type of boards are ideal for many many different subjects but do take away a part of community get togetherness. With a continous chat board we welcomed each person in as they arrived, Some nights you could have almost ten people or more reply with an Hiya or Hello, I think that is part of whats missing, Now we have to look for threads which doesnt help much.

Yes you are right ,it just kept on going till we all fell asleep, and the last one turned the light out lol I dont like this nastiness even though i have had my 2 pennysworth tonight , but it gets me so mad people having a go at others for no reason, or just for the attention?

I didn't used to use the old chat board....strangley enough I use these boards now but don't do much at all with my tree any more...lol.....but I had been working on that for 20+ years.
I don't put many threads up myself but like to join in here or there.

In my own thoughts and thinking, there is a lot of frustration built up, a lot of not being able to speak of something that is bothering a person because of the site rules, a lot of past conflicts that are never left in the past, a lot of deliberate annoyance sometimes by deliberately going in on anothers thread to cause problems If a thread is started by someone that has fallen out with another then its harrassment in my book and needs to be dealt with. All groups of people should be allowed to enjoy things without disruption, until that happens the site will remain at a standstill or worse still go down hill

Sorry Ive not been around much, Thank you for asking after me :) Ive looked in a couple of times in the past week or so and seen the bits of friction, Ive also had another infection which has got to me a little so that I have just sat back this time and waited for things to cool off a little.
