fennel has an aniseed flavour (the fresh bulb bit) but when cooked the flavour is reduced quite alot, finishing touches are a spoonful of honey (in the dish) and fresh parsley added on top of the cassarole. |

Had a chineese last night-special chow mein is my fav, and sweet n sour chicken but I have to have the sauce seperate cos I don't like the chicken drowned in it. |

Hahaha Colin.. I have just had Sweet and Sour Chicken. The only other thing I will eat on the menu is the Peking Style ribs... because they are normal. |
