Malc
I understand how you're feeling.
Sometimes everything will be overwhelming, at other times strangely calm.
It's all part of the way we cope at such times.

My thoughts are with you.

Malc, you may well feel that for a long time.....I did...but it will pass so just let the feelings come as and when they do...it is different for everyone, don't be afraid
to go with the grief when it hits.

(((hugs))) to you and yours

Before I suffered bereavement myself Malc, I was amazed at how calm most chief mourners were, until it happened to me.......I think you want the day to go as well as possible, to say goodbye with dignity......and dare I say it, a kind of relief that the wait for the funeral is over.......the time for crying will come.......x

Hi Malc,
I feel for you, I lost my mum & dad within fifteen months of each other, I think I spent about four years in a daze, you never forget it just gets easier to remember.
Take one day at a time, there will be some good and some bad, but you will get through.

All normal feelings Malc take time for yourself now.

We lost our SIL and then 6 weeks later a nephew that we had hardly seen for years I wept buckets at his funeral all the feelings I had held in six weeks previously. Now 18 months later I find it hard to talk of my SIL without getting upset I miss him so much.

Love Linda x
