Just reading this thread and was going to say, gritters have been out in Norfolk. I noticed outside light on so went to see why and snow is coming down, patio is dry so it might settle but there isn't much at the mo. |

Its really cold in Cardiff, no snow but its forecast for sometime tomorrow> I dont like driving in snow so when OH took me out for a meal this evening popped in the local supermarket to get a loaf and bottle of milk, no not panic buying just got this evening what I would have got tomorrow. What I do like about snow is when its difficult to get out and I can sit in the house all nice and warm and just enjoy being very lazy and reading my book. |

Hartlepool--and it's getting colder by the minute!! Got my fleece pj's on and both doggies tucked up on the bedspread to keep me warm( and to keep my little poorly Ben warm)!--need to look for my socks and then I'm all set for a cosey night. The tip of my nose is frozen sitting here and that's with the heat on--chunters at OH on his green thing turning it down 2 notches!!!!!! |

I think that may be an urban myth Colin, otherwise why would they bother gritting main roads - apart from the carnage that would result if they didn't!! |
