I can't remember what it means. It was a programme we had on Scottish telly on Hogmanay, and he spoke in best glasgow slang. It was hilarious.

I`ll give you another one --when we were on our cruise an American comedian asked where eveyone came from --he picked up on someone from Ayrshire, Scotland . He said there was an expression there that the men say when asking a girl to dance. He was so accurate with the Ayrshire accent --here goes "Are ye dancing? " , answer "Are ye askin?" The Americans we met thought it was hysterical but it`s so accurate,
