Then I give up - or what about a luxurious weekend breakaway - just you and him - or book an isolated cottage somewhere and recall your honeymoon. Or buy him that piece of jewelry you always wanted. Am all out of suggestions I think!

In the past my hyusband had a whale adoption, both gr.children had donkeys and ponies etc. We also live near a zoo and one can adopt there - you then can visit and see how they are getting on. I think all zoos do this now. Monkey World does a wonderful job and needs all the help it can get.

ChrisofWessex Report 18 Dec 2007 22:29

Well all I can suggest is that if they really have everything - adoption of an animal for a year in any of the animal sanctuarys in this countyr - or try Oxfam - and buy a goat, or chickens or money towards sinking a water well etc.
