Same as you, tummy bug. I think the correct name is emitaphobia or similar. if I meet someone who says 'i was ill last nigh, I literally take a step back.

But the strange thing is I can even feel anxious when I read on here of tummy bugs. and I know I can't catch it on line!

Mines Mice ,Rats ,and anything darty with long tails.

Stems back to childhood when we lived a Victorian House and that had an open run along the attic space over ten houses. next door had problems with mice that they did nothing about and we all suffered . They use to scamper overhead at night running up and down the full attic space and me and big sis were terrified they would come down the chimney or somehow fall on us. we shared a double bed and only the tips of our noses could be seen from under the covers cos we needed to breath!!

Still hate em and are terrified of em too. Never let daughter have them as pets or allowed the class pets home for the holidays despite her pleadngs that she would look after them

Birds and rats - the only difference between them is the wings. Hate them both, they make my skin crawl!

Snakes - had Adders and Grass Snakes in garden when I was young (lived in country with stream at end of long garden) and was always told to keep away from them - and like Dawnie i hate them - turn telly off, put post-it note over pics in book or newspaper - hate seeing them on holiday abroad. Jx

Being sick...............................no idea why though...........and spiders, a garden spider bit me when I was little.

I am working really hard to get over the spider phobia though

I can now put a glass upside down over one...............I really have tried not to pass my fear on to our girls................2 out of the 4 are fine with them.
