Bless you Muffy, I don’t post very often on the boards but I just wanted to say how sorry I am, you must feel as if your heart has been ripped out at the moment, I know, have been there. I try to remember the good times we had together, the fun, the laughter, the cuddles. In time, you will find that the tears turn to smiles as you fondly remember him, hope you feel better, real soon. Animals are so much luckier than us humans. The pain we have to endure when there is nothing else that can be done for us.

We lose our dignity, but our Pets dont.

It is so hard to have to make the decision, but I believe your old boy is in a better place.

But I dread the day when I have to make this decision for my old boy.

Muffy I've just seen your update. I don't even know you but I'm crying!! You did the right thing for your old boy. But you know that . You are all in my thought's Luv Carole xx

I am so very sorry that you no longer have your old boy but you did what had to be done.

He is in doggy heaven and will always be with you in spirit, because you hold him in your heart.

It has been nearly a year since Scott died in his sleep and he will always live in a corner of my heart as do Ruffy and Feiheina.

I give thanks for my new babies, Diana and Rooney, who are nearly nine months old.

There are days that they make me so very angry, but in compensation they give me joy and unconditional love...

I know that one day they will also live in a corner in my heart....

I am so sorry,I have been in the same position as you have found yourself in.
I did find it a comfort to think at least my Jo-Jo went in peace and with dignity,and I think your dog deserves the same ,you are doing the right thing, hard as it is.
