My husband has been poorly since August this year.
he has a large, but benign tumour that has to be removed.

The op involves major surgery to his bowel and bladder................he is on the urgent waiting list, but no idea how long he will have to wait.

The strain is beginning to take its toll on both of us and we are both in need of a bit of support please..............any hugs and positive thoughts will be given a loving home.

He's got to have a special diet for a while after the op, so I'm practicing making nourishing soups.

I will phone them every day if I have to..............poor man is so uncomfortable and desperate to get it sorted.

Keeping everyone optimistic is pretty wearing sometimes.

i went today for my pre op check up

they said i would be in within 2 weeks

i said oh no it wont

so i have my op in january

i could nt miss pusses xmas dinner

and i have xmas shopping to do

Do you have a choice of hospitals where you live? I only ask...... if hubby's GP can get him in another location quicker.

It's a swine waiting for a date, I hope you get one soon.

The problem is that he will need 2 surgeons and a spell in ICU.................he would go anywhere to get it done.

I can't believe he is the same man that a few months ago was too scared to go to see the asthma nurse on his own!!

Kitty ((((hugs)))) for you both. I hope that it wont be too long before the op can be done. Sue has a good point, have you asked if there is another hospital he can go to. keep phoning and stress his discomfort.

He is going to see the GP tomorrow for another prescription, he is going to ask her to write again.....................her letter got them moving last time.
