Love beetroot, went to a russian birthday party last night, had "fish in blankets (or fur)", it was tiny fish, covered in fresh boiled grated beetroot and potatoe with a tiny amount of onion as well. I dont normally eat fish, but that was delicious! Told by host it takes 8 hours to prepare (boiling beet etc) so only made on special occasions. |
