Ohh, well done Kitty!!!!

Apparently it's a pole cat coloured ferret!!!????

It was in the cat sheds at work, on my day off too *TuT*
They rang me to come and get it...It was so cute i imediatly put my hand out to it .....Wont do that again, pmsl....!

Rang my friend at RSPCA who says that it sounds like a pole cat coloured ferret, and it's a young one, probably been dumped...She's got loads of emergency calls tonight so i have new friend for sleep over......It was either that or they would have to euthanase (spelling?)
She'll ring me tomorrow to find out if any shelters have room - i cannot keep this one as they like to eat rabbits!!!!!

Just put picks on GC next gen - bit bad coz little dude a bit scared, but it gives you the idea....

We had ferrets for years at the farm..............the males smell awful.

They can be tamed though and make great pets if handled properly.

It might have escaped from somewhere.

Oooh - yes kitty, it may be cute but my God does it HUM!!!!! lol....
Does that mean it's male????
I had NO idea whatsoever about them, i thought it might eat carrots (ok, i'm blonde too) apparently it likes cat food though.....pmsl.....And fingers.....

The males have really large........errr......male bits! lol

They love cat food, but the best thing is the specially made ferret food and occasional whole eggs are fun..............they play with them before opening and eating them.

Ours had fresh killed meat....................dad was a gamekeeper and used them for rabbiting.

Toothfairy Report 20 Nov 2007 18:57

UUURGH!!!
well...they'll be no fresh meat here!!!!

Well, it appears to be quite young and there are no signs of 'males bits', lol, but tiz a smelly little dude!!!

Don't spose you could have a look at GC next gen and see if we're right ( a pole cat thingie) ????
Would appreciate alot...

It does seem attracted to humans - in that it's not a wild animal, thats why we assume it's been dumped...

LOU XXXXXXXXXXx
Ps. don't worry - little thingie won't be put to sleep...as ever i wont allow ;-)
