i haven't posted for ages just thought we could have a laugh, mine was the eighties i loved it, but i like all music from every genre just wondering what you all prefered?

Contry and Western, Elvis, Cliff Richards, Shania Twain, Mixes from 60,s and 70,s.

i found loads of songs i had forgot all about on youtube lol

I love them all, 40s Glen Miller, 50s rock and roll, especially Buddy Holly, 60's from beatles to motown,
70s Glamrock, rock and disco, 80s and 90s, and there are still some good bands and singers around now. I also love country and western, Willie Nelson especially.

I suppose my true era is the 70s though, thats my teen years, the platforms and flares (nowt changes does it lol)

I like music from all decades from Gregorian chants to big band to todays chart list. the only stuff I dont like is blues and jazz uurrggh

hi teresa, no it doesn't looking at my kids is funny has music revolves all the time, yet if i play mine they look at me very strangely lol, and most of the time they are listening to remakes or parts of the music i listen to just mixed into other songs lol

When my daughter was in her teens, about 1997-98 ish, Boyzone were her favourite band, and they did a couple of remakes which she went and bought...
She took my CD off and put hers on saying, 'This is what you shoudl be listening to mum, not that old stuff'

To which I sang along to every word.

My daughters response....'Oh My God!! My Mother knows the words to this, how embarrassing!' She was mortified!

I wish I could remember which song it was. After that she always asked before buying a CD if it was a cover of one of my oldies LOL


She went all goth after that, so I got the heavy drums and guitars of Marilyn Manson and Linkin Park from then until she left home.

oooooooo not to forget irish jig a jig ,celtic,40s swing,opera[mario lanza]gospel,um.................old songs from the films.........some country........and of course gun n roses.........prince....................

i have to say i watched my dvd of the live aid and there is no one who beats queen singing radio gaga live to an audience fantastic xx
