small, slightly crisp, with oodles of rich gravy or proper butter and pepper. My mouth is watering.

And bubble and squeak made with them is mmmmmmm droollicioso.

Basted with oil, garlic, pepper and rosemary along with the roast parsnips etc (a sort of winter Mediterranean-style vegetable roast)

Guess what I'm going out to get later!!

Love

Have a Japanese student staying with me at moment and gave her sprouts for dinner she thought they were baby cabbages and asked how we grow them so small, had to bring a plant from allotment to show her, she loves them as we do. Save our sprout I agree.

Try Roasting with Goose Fat Daff. You,ll enjoy them better. But after eating don,t get too close to "Naked Flames". **M** :o)))>.

I have been waiting for the good old sprout to come into season Dawnie.....my Dad used to say, they are no good until you get a good frost on them.......anyway MiL bought some last week and said they were lovely.....

Armed with my trolley, I bought a huge bag of them, and a swede, and had them with some lovely beef on Sunday......I am using the rest this week.....

....I do love a good sprout.....
