That could be as a result of a recent cold Gaynor, the ears get it too. Are you going dizzy, not faint, but like the room is spinning? The ears drain out through the throad, hence the tickle. Best get that checked out too. Your doctor won't mind.

Gaynor, if you carry on the way you are, your presence in the office will mean nothing.. believe me I've done exactly what you are doing and put everyone else first.. you MUST get this sorted, as soon as possible, or you could possibly end up really poorly!!

Take good care of yourself.

I promise I will go... I'll just have to get today out of the way - big bods meeting at work... all day ... and training too ... can't get out of it.
I'm really not trying to make excuses.
I WILL go

Oh and I have stopped taking the caffeine tablets, but I did have ½ a glass of red bull yesterday (but because I was thirsty) . I do feel better without the tablets though.

They are good as a "one off" to give you a lift, but surprisingly, I have only stopped taking them since I started this thread because I was already thinking "this can't be right" and I can feel a difference.

Gaynor xx

ps. Thankyou for listening ... I think that sometimes it's worse cos you bottle things up when you're worried and then things just get worse.

I can only say the same as everyone else - get to the doctors - work will still be there when you get back. And at the end of the day you are more important.

Just wanted to let you all know....
I have been to the Dr's today.... finally... after a terrible two weeks at work spent either crying or sceaming at people (which just isn't me).
I knew that I had to do something and the abridged version is...
The Dr says I am suffering from depression... I did a lot of talking and crying and I told her EVERTHING about not sleeping and feeling tired all the time etc... right back to losing Mum a year last July.
Anyway, she has signed me off for 2 weeks and given me some anti depressants.
I have to say, she was hitting the nail on the head with everything she explained to me and I feel quite a bit better now for actually biting the bullet so to speak.
Well... I promised you guys that I would go... and I went - and hopefully this is the turning point.

Gaynor :)

you feel like that after red bull cos the caffeine only gives you a rush, its not a prolonged thing,
it also raises your blood pressure drastically,
son drank one one mornign on way to school unbeknown to m e, he said why would my blood pressure be (what ever it was)
i said omg you better get down docs,
had you had brekkie, he said no i had red bull on way to school,
swift slap round ear was coming his way for making me panic

hope you feel better soon though i think its onset of winter, hibernasion isnt it

I am sorry to hear you have depression.....but now you are on the right road to get better.

Treat yourself to long and lazy duvet days, spoil yourself with chocolate or whatever you need to feel better in yourself.................take it slowly, you won't feel the full benefit of the tablets for a while.

We are all here at some point if you need a friendly ear.

Get well really soon.

xx
