I only started posting during the summer and do find it disconcerting sometimes see comments which can only be described as hurtful and unnecessary. Politeness is surely only a sign of good manners? I have noticed that there are fewer names that I recognise now in just a few months. Jx

I think there are still a lot of us about just not posting very often.

mmmm.................maybe enticing people off here isn't helping the situation! :)))

I joined in the summer too and since then people have been praising msn, ftf, facebook and now sgr.

We GR only users can get very lonely sometimes..........yes, I know I coulod use other sites too, but I like it here.

Just my take on things..........no offence or criticism intented.

Hi all,

I'm not going anywhere.. I have been off colour, and had visitors, so haven't been around as much. Also, there are times when I am more mobile and active than others, so I tend to be out and about, gardening and catching up on things then. I spend more time on here when I am less mobile.

I am also a member on sgr, and it is a lovely site, with lovely people on it, but this is my *home site* so to speak, and so I spend more time on here, as there are lovely people here too.

I didn't mean to offend anyone and I wasn't trying to entice anyone away from gr. lol
I have always been quiet and don't post much and usually go for the quizzes which I find on other sites. Having said that I still use gr and probably allways will as I find the majority of people on here to be lovely.
Sgr is a little site set up by Stu from Hastings.
I hope you are not offended by my earlier post and we are still friends? Lolol
