Lindy if I didnt have him already - which I do - you have found my man.

Its so nice to share - we have been together only seven years but are making it offical in 2008!

We do have some things in common even though we have different cultures...

He is a sports fanatic, I love dead people...He is a first class photographer and thinks nothing of waking me at 2:am to show me the perfect print...not impressed I tell him to wait for daylight as I don't see so well at night...

I think nothing of waking him at 2:am to tell him of a nightmare that I have had...or have a one way conversation when I cannot sleep...lol

We both love the outdoors, fishing, BBQ, and reading, but he has to have his comforts...He hates "bundo bashing" sleeping and crapping in the wild, which I love...nothing like a "bit of grass to tickle your arse" ;)

We both adore our pups who are now six months old...He is a morning person and shares his breakfast with Diana the bully. (fresh goat's milk cheese) that he gets every Tuesdays and Thursdays...God help anyone that eats Diana's cheese...I get up later and share my toast with both pups...

I guess the most important thing is that after thirty years we still get on well with each other...He is the perfect gentleman and treats all woman with respect...

I would not change him for the world...

No definitely not - he is a soaps freak - and me - well just on the comp 24/7 - except when I work XX.

I'm thinking of putting my rod and tackle away as it is getting too cold these days.
Have to find something else to occupy my mind.

Hi friends,
My OH and I have one thing in common - fishing.
I love to go to rivers and lakes to do some fishing and while I am out she loves to go fishing through my wardrobes and draws to see what she can find.

my OH is often behind me - I am lucky he works from home so have a proper office set up with servers and things in here.

He likes to relax with shoot em up games and things like WOW, COD and Lord of the Rings which hold no interest with me - but I like the fact he is a few feet away from me on his pc doing what he likes to relax an I am on mine doing what I like.

At least I know he is not down the pub doing whatever lol.

We love to picnic and go out and entertain and like the same books - ok we dont like the same PC things but we are in the same room doing our own thing :)

We are mostly very different. But that hasn't stopped us from being happy for the past 26 years.

He loves opera I love heavy rock
He loves fantasy books I love horror
He hates everything I watch on TV (good job we have one in every room)

We both love walking*, travelling, rugby, athletics and F1, thank gawd for that.

But we both adore all our kids

we both adore ru by, we ha e 4 boys so we do lots with them.
music we are really different, films really diferent.
food we are similar in taste.
money we ha e in common as in he earns it while i spend it!!

you are lucky i dont have kids with my OH he was asleep and missed that chance aswell.he likes fishing, he likes motor bikes and cars .
i like football he dont. our star sign says we are not a good match but we have been together 10 years.

We are so different in many ways Caz, both strong personalities......what we have in common is a sense of humour, and no matter what we say to each other, it is over and done with......no comebacks...

We have been jogging a way quite nicely and it will be 42 years on 2nd October...

I still look forward to him walking through the door....and talking of star signs, he is a Gemini and goes at 100 miles an hour, whereas I'm more laid back....Cancer....(not moody, or sensitive)...
