There is a box on the right called privacy that gives you the opportunity to limit who sees your info. Tick *your friends only* and you will be quite safe to share your details amongst your true friends.

The internet is a big and scary place. If you want to keep your private life private - give that box a tick and you'll be fine xx

Quite true, Muffy. Alas, people - even from this very site - have been known to copy and use other peoples' photographs for malicious purposes.

Maggy, as Muffy said, just click on privacy at the top right and make sure only your friends can see anything, and make sure search is set to friends only too.

I don't know what you mean about 'scoring points', Teresa. Luckily, I'm very happy with what and who I am and don't give a flying flap who sees what:)

I have pics of my grandchildren coming soon,my sis is putting them up, along with her two girls, no way am I letting joe public snoop into them.

Yep I am intending to put pics of my girls up but they are also for selected eyes only.

Any responsible parent would know where I am coming from with this.

Exactly Joyous, and my mate in Bristol wants to see them she hasnt seen them in a few years, she has pics of hers and I can' tbelieve how they have grown!

I believe the privacy issue is very important with this -not least for the fact that people may be posting pics of their kids - this is all the more reason to keep this to the top considering so many people have joined recently?

Anyone agree?
