This is disgusting.They do do it though.My 17 year old daughter was arrested at college after someone punched her in the face and she hit back.She had to wait 5 hours before being interviewed on her own.At 17 they told me she is not a child.I did phone them and tell them that if they dont feed her she will start getting shakes and may blackout lol so they fed her.My married daughter is having a lot of trouble with her neighbours and they keep calling the police on her husband.The last time they came she phoned me up and said listen.I heard them shouting at her.She was alone with 3 small children.I told her to tell them to get out.When she got rid of them she found one of her children missing.He was so scared he ran off to his other nans a few miles away.She reported him missing and reported both police officers.She is still waiting to hear. Complain, complain and complain - I am so sick and tired of hearing about this sort of thing happening - go for it Caz and good luck. My youngest was accused many years ago and I did nothing - suppose I believed the police - and I was wrong he was trying to protect a so called friend. In this day and age I am afraid one has to look after ones own - no one else bloody does. Sorry for swearing but I get so annoyed.
Take care and pm me if you need to
Love to you and yours

Guinever,

I intend too, my OH works in a prison. If an inmate was treated that way, theyd get compensation in a big way.....very unjust..

Maybe if my son was an illegal immigrant hed deserve better treatment.....sorry if this offends, im bitter and angry,

Caz that is so sad, that that boy has been turning his life around, making plans for his future... and they are still on his back for part misdemeanours. Not right at all.

Then the way he was treated when they did come for him!
In fact the way YOU were treated, the mess they left in his room.
How did they get a search warrant ?

God love him it could be enough to make him feel like "what's the point?"

Just make sure he knows what the point is, and show him that you are behind him.
I have never had any reason to complain to the police, and I understand your fears.... but there must be someway to do it.
good luck with it all and, Josh, hold your head up high.
You have done no wrong.

Caz,
this is a wee message for your son, Tell him that everyone makes a misstake in thier life, but what the police did to him was injust and he must compain and you do the same.
When he joins the Army he will be a different person and a very proud one, and I have a huge rescpect for any person joining the Army.
My son was in trouble with the police through so called friends, he joined the Army and he is now a man. and was very proud to wear his uniform. now left after 4 years service.
A big hug to you both.

Hi Caz,
You can complain to IPCC....google it for your area.
They are ex police and other legal types who can advise.
Pretty sure it stands for Independent police complaints commision.
They poice may say in their defence that they were exceptionally busy and called for appropriate adult when they were ready. Adult only has to be there for questioning for 17 and under.
Good luck x

Caz just seen this I think you must complain .
My Lad was hounded as a teenager by two patricular police men. Too much to try and write here but.
He didn't do wrong just rode a motorcylce and they had it in for all the lads.
One day my son said oh you will have another to pick on my sister gets a bike next week not your sister we are after they said it is you, anyway this went on for 2 years. In the end I started to make a log of every time he was stopped and checked where he was etc.
Anyway he was in a bad road accident ( not his fault) and they went to the scene they were heard to say. Right let's check his bike see what we can get him for . Nothing his bikes were never less than perfect. The lad that heard offered to go and speak up but like you we were afraid of him being picked on. Luckily we had a police man lived in our street would never have bothered him before but this had gone too far. So I told him what had happened and he got one of the two in the locker room told him lay off this is a quiet word down here next time it wil be a loud word upstairs. They left my lad alone after that.
I do hope you get this sorted the way your lad was treated was well out of line. Nww if he was a drug dealer they would probably be best friends with him. He is trying to get his life back on track well done to him. Don't let the beggars wear him down.
Right rant over. I get so annoyed whnn I see this sort of thing and see what is happening around town.
Take Care luv.

~~~~~~~~~ across the choppy bay, Germaine,
THANKYOU for telling you story with your lad. When my lad was being tempted with drugs, I gave addresses etc and NOTHING happened,
My feeling is.....go for easy crime figures and leave the more serious stuff, hence why our country is the way it is....
Not been down that way today Caz was choppy the other day though.
Oh I could write a book on that lot I told them one day instead of roaming about her go up the club get the drink drivers go under he pier get the addicts Oh no that would be hard work pick onthe kids that do nothing.
One of them is still with the police seemingly not as bad now and the other I think got into bother and had to leave.
Supoose there are good and bad like everything else.
Trouble was round here not sure if they still do they used to get a lot of trainees and a lot of time they don't know what they are doing.
Did you know that if even if you have passed your test you can't have a pillion. :-) still laugh about that one.
Chin up something will go right soon.
